Empathy Decathlon®
Summary
In October 2022, lead facilitator, Pame Barba, and founder, Shelton Davis, got the opportunity to lead an amazing group of women basketball referees and administrators and one gentleman from Mexico through the Empathy Decathlon framework. We met at the beautiful Constellations Community space in the Sweet Auburn district of Atlanta, Georgia. Guided in Spanish by Pame, we checked in with our five senses, talked about what brings us energy, and discovered new ways to connect empathetically with ourselves, our fellow referees, the players, and spectators.
